About these terms
These terms describe use of the MSTools iPhone app, mstools.dev, and related services provided by the MSTools developer. For support or questions, contact support@mstools.dev.
MSTools is an independent MapleStory companion. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Nexon. MapleStory names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
App license and permitted use
The iPhone app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms explain MSTools’ service and purchase arrangements and do not replace that license. If there is a conflict about the app license, Apple’s standard EULA controls. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Use MSTools lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, evade access controls, or use the API in a way that disrupts availability. Do not use public character information to harass or impersonate others.
Character data and calculations
Character information comes from public ranking snapshots and may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. EXP projections, equipment totals, flame scores, and improvement odds are estimates based on the available data and calculator assumptions. They do not guarantee in-game outcomes.
Game updates can change items, formulas, or probabilities before MSTools is updated. You are responsible for decisions you make using the tools. MSTools does not control MapleStory, your game account, or third-party data sources.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Deleting MSTools does not cancel a subscription. A lifetime purchase is a separate one-time purchase and does not automatically cancel an existing subscription; manage its renewal through Apple to avoid further subscription charges.
Lifetime means ongoing access to the Premium features of MSTools without a recurring subscription fee while the app and those services remain available. It does not promise perpetual operation of the online service, support for every future device, or access to separate future products. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
Restoration and refunds
Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore eligible purchases associated with your Apple Account. An App Store connection may be required. Expired, refunded, or revoked purchases may no longer provide Premium access. Locally saved setups are retained when access ends, but use of paid tools may require active Premium access.
Apple handles payment and refund requests. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s process and applicable consumer law. MSTools does not guarantee refund eligibility or override Apple’s decisions.
Local data and service availability
Your saved library, equipment setups, and flame records are stored locally. MSTools does not provide its own cloud sync or backup. Deleting the app or losing your device can result in loss of local records. Device backup and restoration depend on your Apple settings.
We may update the app, correct data, or change services. Online functions depend on network access and third-party systems and may be interrupted or discontinued. Where required by law, we will provide notice and any applicable remedy for material changes affecting paid access.
Privacy and external services
Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, network requests, hosting, purchases, and support information. Apple, Nexon, and other linked services have their own terms and privacy practices.
Responsibility and your rights
To the extent allowed by applicable law and subject to Apple’s standard EULA, MSTools is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, complete data accuracy, or a particular game result. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to MSTools or legal requirements. The current version and its updated date will remain available here. Material changes will receive any notice or consent required by applicable law and will not remove mandatory rights relating to existing purchases.
